Artist’s Statement

Pamela R. Tarbell

I strive to create complex compositions with a variety bright of colors, as the goal is to have a painting that the viewer will always see some new to enjoy or discover. My process is layering on many coats of color, and sometimes creating a puzzle for myself that I must solve. Then each day as I return to my studio, I feel challenged and eager to get to work.
